My 94 year old Mum very kindly made us a sponge cake yesterday. She very nearly did a Mrs Cropply from The Vicar Of Dibley, when opening what she thought was a jar of jam to go with our butter cream, only to find with her glasses on it was infact a jar of Shredded pickled cabbage!!

It's that time again when the Jacquie Lawson Calendar arrives. It's one of the things I enjoy most leading up to Christmas. All the videos, games,decorating,puzzles etc are really fun and enchanting.
