“Digital Dread” uses the ‘Final Girl’ Theory by Carol Clover to analyze how horror games adapt slasher tropes. 🔪🩸Carlos Ramírez-Moreno and Antonio Francisco Campos Méndez find that while player agency challenges the genre's rigid conventions, the games still retain their cinematic origins. 🎮👁️‍🗨️📖🌑
