and a few days overdue but I'm still counting it: Unruly, by David Mitchell. Gotta admit, history is not my strong point, and not least because I can't follow a story when the characters change every two pages (but also there's only four names to share between them)

it's definitely a time investment, and book 2 (Blade of Tyshalle) is out of print most places, although I'm pretty sure you can still get the ebook. I loved those books but mileage as always may vary!

Caine's Law by Matthew Woodring Stover does some fun stuff with non-linear weird time and second-person narration, but it's the last in the Acts of Caine series (also trigger warning for SA/lots of visceral violence)

I've been picking up some circus stuff over the last few years which is great, I'm having fun with it, and there are other schools I could go to for swords, but they're not GLECA. I'd feel bad letting it die, you know?

had a big couple months, had a hysterectomy and changed jobs and bought a new house and sold the old one, but I'm in a really nice area now and it's a lovely house. Just means I gotta keep making that tech salary to afford it :(
