I’m a dad first, but also a son, a brother, and a curious soul. Photography and writing are how I process the world, and how I share it. I think deeply, speak honestly, and advocate fiercely for neurodiversity.
I want to take a moment to personally thank Anthony Joshua. He's done the world a great service.

One of the most powerful statements you can make for yourself is to say, out lout, that you are deserving of life and love.

If you ever wonder why a late-diagnosed Autistic sometimes gets angry out of nowhere, there's a good chance they suddenly thought of where they could be if the system didn't fail them.

My purpose is to help. If my pain, my suffering, my experience can be of some use to someone, it didn't happen in vain. If I can help others, I've served my purpose.

To my neuridivergent friends,
Don't apologize for existing. You deserve to own the space you're inhabiting. Life is yours. I wish you all peace and live in this holiday season

Sincerely and warmly,

I try not to get political on this platform, but I want to take a moment to appreciate the stand that Mick Foley has taken. He could sit back and take his WWE Legends paycheck, smiling all the way to the bank. But he's taken a principled stand and stepped away from his relationship with WWE.

The stigma related to neurodivergence is the nemesis of the neurodivergent. So much discrimination and bias comes from beliefs about it that aren't based in the vicinity of facts, yet it passes like an infection without challenge.
Information and education are disinfectant.

Rob Reiner's films tapped into so many aspects of the human experience, through comedies and drama. He gave us so many quotable moments from so many great films. Rest in peace.

Can we stop the "is Bo Nix the franschise QB" nonsense now? He is, and he deserves it.

Happy first night of Hannukah. Violence can't diminish the light of the season.

I used to think Bass Pro Shop and Buc-ees were the most American stores. I give you...Scheel's.

Good play by the ref on that Green Bay touchdown. That call on Moss was BS, gave GB a free 1st down.

I bought a cold brew coffee maker a couple weeks ago. It's amazing. I don't drink hot coffee, and cold brew is more appealing to me.
Using Fire Dept Coffee, Shellback Espresso. It's nicely smooth, but bold. It slaps you in the face then kisses your cheek. Good stuff.

My son never had a real birthday party. He never had any real friends until he joined an adult day program at 19. We tried our best to give him good birthdays, but no one ever showed up for his birthday but family.
I saw the exclusion of special needs children up close. That's one reason I fight.

Language is important. George Carlin taught me to pay attention to the language we use when communicate. So her I go.
I don't "have" Autism. I'm Autistic, or I'm an Autistic person. Autism isn't something I carry around, it's something I am.
I don't gatekeep the language, you be you and I'll be me.
