I’m a huge fan of C.S. Forester’s books — and his brilliant creation, Horatio Hornblower, a naval hero who’s almost completely unaware of his own greatness. Ioan Gruffudd captured that perfectly in a series of films for A&E years ago; I was delighted to get to meet him today at New York Comic Con!
