DS, Wii, 8, all fun. Still better when the other franchises don't feel the need to crank one out every console generation.

Welcome to the club, I'm 350 episodes in and it's a hell of a ride. A good ride too, only occasional moments of "get on with it." Usually during filler arcs, everything else has been fantastic.

Manga is faster yes, but unless you're trying desperately to catch up, treat it as a long project.

It says something that I have a higher opinion of the game because I got bored of the gameplay and quit partway through when it was just going through the motions of combat arenas. So I never got to the complete shitting the bed of the narrative.
