just that people who make a living by embodying AIs in the wild are not on the list ;)

in their view. but their mistake, sometimes, is that, before entering (and while being) in a discourse with them, you need to acknowledge, state, and express your acknowledgement of THEIR incredibly human humanity in all YOUR incredibly human veins!
that easily leads to clashes and aporia.

so we parted ways like old friends, and made me ponder, a decade later, what unexpected meanings the saying 'cobbler stick to your last' can have.

know thy scientists.

Chiș Ciure for instance is from Zalău, i.e. from the wrong side of the Carpathians, but he strongly reminds me of a guy, the shepherd-monk of the monastery in whose hilly vicinity we were enjoying the evening twilight, while he himself was about to collect his sheep,

any scientific discovery has been made by first declaring it an 'outstanding issue' as if it were a supernational emergency. the first, and in some respects only one who ever declared something 'specific' to be an outstanding issue 'on his own' was Kant. and the rest, it seems, is ruminated history.

what all those ToM folks should take home much, much earlier than when Kuhn decided that expanding the catalogue even further would make no sense, is that never, ever, since the damn of the big boom,

Chatty, unlike many scientific humans, knows that speech, language, and written text are not the same thing!! 🥰

if the measure centrality index gauche works as it should however, it will find out in no time that all roads spiral around and hence lead to one single episode, where there was at least a partial agreement that Robert Lawrence made rejoice and wholeheartedly agree with.

the staunch AI-ethicists feel cornered now and then :)

but it's understandable. AI is tricky. and it's only their incredibly human humanity that makes them see its evil side undistorted. so, people that don't reject a number of aspects categorically are not incredibly human enough,

ergo: sucking bobby has been cheating all the time. collecting data is what he was doing.

girlie firmly believes in falsifiability, and there's a lot to falsify, and bobby is not even angry that she clearly wants to overdo his own not finding anything of interest in any of the versions he reviewed, that refused to suck him even a bit closer to any truth.
