The fire out at Camp Navajo (near Flagstaff) this morning, before the wind shifted and we got evacuated due to smoke (we were told possibly toxic, given what's burning -- breathe this stuff as little as possible). First image is a pano.

A blue grosbeak has been hanging out in the back yard the past couple days. (Gets along well with this house finch, apparently.)

The Milky Way last night (in Flagstaff), with one of my favorite trees, and also light pollution from Phoenix, at two different focal lengths (28mm and 16mm; Canon R7; 10sec, 8sec; f/2.8). Also a shot of our 1.3-meter telescope doing calibrations (screen flats) (50mm, 15sec).
