I am in two minds about the ramp up of defence capabilities in the EU. One side of me believes the US needs to be involved but part of me believes the US just needs to be a partner and not a key player due to the instability of the new regime. I would love to be proven wrong though.

Spent a week in Florida. The understanding of reality by most Americans saddens me. I got told the most unhinged shit about Ukraine. May have doomer pilled myself.

I feel somewhat depressed still from the US elections. Mostly due to the impacts on NATO and Ukraine. The amount of probing asymmetrical warfare from Russia is going to increase in Central Europe, and it already has in Czechia and Poland over the last few years.
