Lord of mercy, look upon young people who cut their own flesh to quiet unbearable pain. Stay the blade, still the hand, and speak truth louder than despair. Heal their bodies and souls, break the lie that harm brings relief, and surround them with saving love and help. Amen.

My thoughts & prayers are with the ppl of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) after a shooting at a meetinghouse in Salt Lake City left 2 dead & others wounded. May God rest the dead, comfort families, heal the wounded, & end violence in sacred spaces.

Tonight I am praying for peace in my home state of Minnesota. I am praying for the woman who is dead and for the agent involved. God grant us peace.

Lord Jesus, look with mercy on young hearts tempted to sell their dignity for survival, approval, or money. Protect them from harm, reveal their worth, open safer paths, and surround them with help, hope, and healing. Amen.
