that they/ we are going to be next. As a binary trans man, I may not be visible to those outside trans community, but I definitely know that the moment I am exposed as a trans man I am also going to be silenced and deemed a heathen, especially having roles where I have worked with children.

Silencing those who are loudest, less resourced, multiply marginalized, less consumed with "passing", or unable to "pass" is a first step in any move toward eradication of peoples. Unfortunately, some transgender people will claim that those people are "putting us in a bad light", not understanding

The goal is not to wait until trans people are adults to make a decision about their genders (that's a lie to make more conservative trans people feel safe, and false allies feel justified in their bigotry). The goal is to remove healthcare options for trans people and silence those who cannot hide.
