I’m angry and saddened by the actions of the Trump regime enabled by the inaction of our Congress. But, I will use that anger to resolve to do what I can to help build the mass movement we need to put an end to this grotesque era of new imperialism so we can turn our swords into plowshares.

It's striking that progressives like Tim Walz and Zohran Mamdani evoke the middle American attitude that, "Yes, we can fix these social problems because we're Americans and it's the right thing to do!" While the "America first" right only emulates failed and failing nation-states elsewhere.

Unfortunately our political leaders don't have the courage to make these types of bold moves. I still have some hope that with our new system of gov't it might happen but I'm not exactly holding my breath. Right now they want good things but still kowtow (to some degree) to car culture.
