Today commemorates the anniversary of Rosa Parks' arrest in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955. Her act of defiance against segregation inspired the Montgomery Bus Boycott, which helped end racial segregation. Rosa Parks' legacy continues to inspire Americans to advance for justice and equality.
