My mother told me once that the trouble with socialism is once it has worked (pulled people out of poverty) they turn their back on it. When people are comfortably off they (think) they don’t need it so much.
But there’s others who need you to help them:

Tbh, I thought he was ok.
It must have been especially daunting.
Definitely needs to come across as keen, passionate but not aggressive, which will come with experience.
Of course I can just imagine what the papers will pick up on, especially GBNews.
The audience needs more time to get to know him.

Because he knows he’d be next on the ICC’s list for an arrest warrant for selling arms to someone who has an arrest warrant for genocide.

The largest part of welfare is our pension.
We’re already having to wait (or work as Zia Yusuf would like) for an extra 7 years we weren’t expecting to do when we started paying in.
So we can see where he wants to make savings.

On a lighter note I spent hours waiting in A&E to get a fish bone out of my throat. If anyone is wasting NHS time, it’s silly me!
But boy, was I grateful to the doctor who got it out and to not have a bill.

Health tourism? What health tourism?
You can’t just get treatment unless you have an NHS number.
Besides I feel proud when I know that our NHS has some of the best Drs and consultants who can help those who can’t get help anywhere else in the world.
People like Malala Yousafzai for example.
