Hades is one of my all time favourite games and Jen Zee is one those artists who inspired me to make art. I wanted to make my own spin on the Egyptian god Anubis (or Inpu) based on the style of the original game while still keeping my own flare to him!

I want to like the game I really do, but the game has so many frustrating design decisions that I've lost count at this point.

That and I just don't find HK combat interesting. I feel like Nine Sols ruined this for me which was a mediocre Metroidvania but a stellar 2D combat platformer

I love older Castlevania games (SotN and DoS are my fav) and many other metroidvanias. I've played Hollow Knight true ending all From games front and back.

But I'm gonna say it: Silksong is probably the most miserable gaming experience I've ever had. It is beautiful but it's such a chore to play.
