Just a little guy
I sincerely believe over the next decade, cities that didn't build data centers will be major winners compared to those that did. They provide next to no jobs, put an incredible strain on the electric grid, and consume far too much water. There are no benefits and they will not be around long term

There's also a large Asian grocery store and like 3 ethnic grocery stores in the river market. Should crossroads have one after that weird concept failed on 18th street, absolutely. But downtown has plenty of grocery options, especially relative to basically anywhere else in the city.

Other than on vacation, I hadn't ridden a bike in 12 years. Then I bought this exact model. Rode it death over 7,000 miles. Just bought the newer version and I use it to commute 16 miles round-trip to work, weather and will permitting

I do hate the idea of cars encroaching on the only space we've carved out for bikes, but if they're well regulated to prevent weight and speed related problems, I think they could be a great compromise on personal vehicles in urban areas

It mostly comes down to weight and speed. If it tops out around 20mph & doesnt weigh more than a few hundred lbs, the energy potential is comparable to a fully loaded cargo ebike. All for making individual transportation as small as possible. Plus the enclosure makes year round use more accessible

I'm looking to replace my front lawn with native prairie. Would you say now is a good time to do so? Do you have a recommended plant mix? I live in Turner kck for what it's worth. Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. Keep up the great work

One of our libraries offers free 3d printing services if the print time is short enough. Absolutely magical concept. Because you live in a place, you can have a thing made for you, for free. Wild.

I'm from Kansas City and just visited Discovery Park for the first time a month ago and recognized these trees immediately. Lovely
