Woz really a shining example of what it is to be wildly successful and keeping the soul intact

Come on, Simon. Resist! I'll buy the good tacos in Austin next year :-P

How about us fans? If there's free baklava it should be Baklavas-For-All!

He'd promise a time machine, deliver it never and in case it did something it would only work to transport us between 2087 and 1975 in December, when no F1 races were on.

We need a better mad scientist, Bish.

Matt, I could not agree more with you. This may be colored by the fact that I was there as a boy for the first ever F1 race at the circuit, the 1972 non-championship one. Besides the fabulous F1 cars, I have enduring memories of Tim Schenken wringing the neck of an F2 and prototype races.

Look wistfully out the side window and sigh loudly.

And if looking at microphones on long poles, it is Boomscrolling. I'll see myself out.

And then it usually (like 99% of the time) forgets where we were in the stream which forces to scrub forward every time. YouTube does it perfectly, F1TV does it correctly, every single streaming service (Netflix, Prime, HBO, Peacock, Paramount, I could go on). Not Video Pass

Shadows of the IndyCar brouhaha between Augustin Canapino + Argentinian fans vs Callum Illot.

100%, Simon. It is an entirely different motorsport discipline and underappreciated. I only warmed up to it after listening to Dale Earnhardt Jr intervieweing older and younger drivers in his podcast series.

Is there a scenario where Acosta catches Bagnaia for fourth?
October 19, 2025 at 9:29 AM
If that was pushing, can’t even imagine what “not pushing” would have looked like.

I wish we could say that this was a surprise
October 19, 2025 at 4:44 AM
This is some serious racing, Simon. Great stuff to watch!

Can I just say "thank you" to all in this thread? While the awfulness is real, seeing so many of you verbalizing (well, you know what I mean) so much of my own thoughts feels like being in a community. So yeah, thanks for the company :-)

I owned one of these for three years. It was indeed a nice ride at the time.

And then you got the situation in the US, where it ia hidden in the backside of CBS or buried somewhere unfindable in Roku TV. Plus the ungodly commercial cuts. It is like they don't want anyone to watch. I might even pay for a decently priced streaming option.

My go to is feedbin. No AI so far and it just works. That's how I get most of my news for the past 10 years and it is terrific. No ads, no pop-ups.

I enjoy The Race's coverage but their video thing on web is just visual garbage.
