1 it's only one more movie! Be a completionist.
2 #4 is very different than #3, if for no other reason than it brings back Gene Hackman as LL.
3 NUCLEAR MAN was awesome when I was a kid.

The movie isn't great by most standards, but you'll at least have the satisfaction of being a completionist!

Are you familiar with what military members did previously at this exact same location?

He also covered how hard it was for him but from another angle - how many years it took, how many times the film failed to move forward, how many times he was told it "wouldn't work" etc. He did anything but make it sound easy or make himself sound ungrateful. Anyway, its the GG. Onward.

That was at the end of his second speech, and there’s nothing in that statement that doesn’t apply to filmmakers of all backgrounds. As an editor I’ve seen films be taken from the director and it’s pretty excruciating. Don’t know why his sentiment deserves condemnation.

I just watched Corbet’s two speeches and am genuinely confused as to when he said anything like that at all. Did I miss something?

I believe Superman 1 and 2 were originally intended to be a single film but the studio made Donner split them.
