it's pretty obvious why the maga controlled congress wanted this hearing held behind closed doors. I hope that we will get to see Jack Smith testify publicly... and soon.

Apparently his stroke did damage to his brain, which now makes him more appealing to the magats.

It pisses me off that this hearing today was conducted behind closed doors. I want to hear the cases that were prepared and the evidence that was going to be introduced.

The fact that it was not a public hearing is very telling.

When I heard that he was giving a speech tonight I thought, for just a moment, that maybe he was stepping down. Then they said that it was going to be about all the great accomplishments so far.

So it will be a very short speech that will last 1 1/2 hours or so.

I would do it if it also meant we could set aside the 2024 election results.

This is a struggle between the rich and the rest of the population. Bad news is, AI is only going to make it worse. Many white collar jobs will disappear and the middle class will shrink further. Self driving cars and delivery drones will cause the same.

Do we as a population need to avoid AI?

Back in March of 2021 I finally was able to get a covid shot. My sense of relief was vary real. I've had boosters every year since and here I am, still not dead from covid. Also, I found that my body did not become magnetized nor did my heart explode.

AI is only going to make this problem worse.
