the instrument was developed and built under the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art residency programme, TechnoDiversions: Communities of Practice, which culminated in a group show titled “Nothing has to be the way it is” curated by Anna Lovecchio

dispatches from 286/0LR is a series of coded audio transmissions recorded utilising the AMPES1; a digital-analogue hybrid encryption instrument comprising of an upright piano, contact microphone, pure data & a set of DIY passive speakers built out of trash cans + upcycled bicycle components

there is a ghost in the machine which i’m unsure if i want to have it remain inside or exorcise it
