@daviddoel.bsky.social I’m childfree and not offended at all. But I really disagree with you blocking that individual. Mental health is real. Maybe try to understand them first. Childfree are also a very stigmatized group, and who knows? They could have easily been a victim of abuse.

Yeah, how about have some empathy. We’re (childfree) pretty stigmatized by parents in society and who knows what kind of an experience this dude faced. I’m sure you’ve probably faced some experiences, maybe even worse as a CF woman yourself.

@daveanthony.bsky.social I’m childfree, and I get sick of kids and parents. That is not “weird”, nor is it them getting “offended”. Some people are just in need of support to find like-minded people.

@molatovbubblebath.bsky.social Weird comparison. Instead, it could easily be that they truly aren’t interested in parents, let alone being a parent, and feel frustrated if no one around them respects their choice. Childfree people are also pretty oppressed in society.

to be honest, it’s pretty miserable and shallow how most parents (even those on the left) don’t even try to empathize with these people. Instead, even they just dismiss them as “weird” and keep fawning over themselves (parents) as the victim, meanwhile society is insanely biased in favor of them.

Honestly I feel pretty sorry for that person. Maybe they are struggling with mental health. Maybe they were abused by peers and family members when they told them they didn’t want children, and then they reacted with hostility towards them. As a childfree person myself, I have experienced this. And
