my Bear-Rat is objectively the best one😼.
I wonder if it is so common because there's a (for some very slippery) slope that starts with just liking something someone made, and then progressively piecing together and solidifying an inaccurate mental image of the author more or less unconsciously because of some weird brain mechanism.

Are those friends all artists too?
I have noticed this kind of thing even within myself, usually it's conflating elements of/sensations from their artistic output with part of their personality.

The fact that it is so widespread is perplexing though, explains the many bios with "I don't know you"

>last thing is their assistance: I never really had to contact them but the one time I needed to they ended up sending me a new pair of P40is in a color of my choice after I contacted them within 24h of the 2yrs warranty wearing off on my poor dying P30s whose ANC mics got busted after years of work

>Be more comfortable

Note that if you use discord on PC you may want to disable the "Call mode" input/output so audio quality does not degrade while in call but you'll need an external mic (having used mostly Soundcore I assume this might be different for other brands but I might be wrong)>

>might be better since they are better "anchored" in the ear, I do remember the Liberty 2s hurting a bit after using them for too long (though it depends on how long is your definition of "too long") but those never fell out of my ears no matter how much I moved so maybe a more modern version might>

Anker/Soundcore always treated me well, both for earbuds (Spirit, Liberty 2, Life P3, P2mini and now on P40is) and over-ear (tried all the "Q"s from Q10s to the current space Q45s)
For Earbuds I'd probably recommend the P40is if it's light exercises otherwise something similar to Spirit/Liberty2s >

On the bright side you might also have c*h*ronic eye pain

Not to mention the game still has fans, like it had an online community that has been active up until the day that the servers closed (and afaik still is on private servers) so it really stings that it seems fated to disappear, I miss those characters man (though I could do with less nukes from Vir)

Honestly probably the single game that would make me unearth that mess of a console.
Such an underrated gem (though not one without its flaws e.g. weapon RNG) deserves another chance to shine if not with a sequel at least with a remaster, we can only hope tho :/
