NFL Draft for ALLCITY | Eagles analysis at ALLPHLY
#Mizzou LB Josiah Trotter is next in line in the Trotter Family Business

Hammer downhill in the run game but I also love his eyes - look how fast he diagnoses this run vs OU; sees it immediately - run stop purely off film study #MIZ

That same violence and ferocity shows up vs OL as well, he holds his own on contact vs bigger bodies

I do think he can stay blocked a bit too long at times and can do a better job of getting off and finding the ball

Can be more impactful, but he's not a liability IMO
February 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
But don't get it twisted, he's not just a finesse space player - he is violent in the trenches

Excellent contact balance and ferocious going into blocks. He can play against NFL TEs at the point of attack tomorrow and be in good shape. No concerns.

When Arvell Reese is left unblocked - he's a menace
February 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
Something they did a TON with Arvell Reese when he was down on the ball was utilize him as a QB Spy

3-man rush with man-to-man behind it

He took a couple of steps back and mirrored the QB, free of other assignments - allowed him to run and chase, contain and/or hunt the QB
February 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
Much like Jalon Walker a year ago, my favorite stuff with Reese came with him as a joker standing up over guards

Did this often in their Dime defense - and his ability to be effective on stunts and games up front showed up here as well
February 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
His athleticism is definitely best put to use right now as a looper on stunts

Can see him being a part of a rush package as a rookie for a defense that utilizes post-snap movement up front
February 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
I thought he was often the last guy off the ball, negating his speed

The top of the rush was a mixed bag. Mostly leaned on his bull rush early in the year; mixed in other rushes later and had good flashes
February 5, 2026 at 5:05 AM
As a pure EDGE, the traits are obvious, but he has a lot of work to do.

Pound for pound - he's really powerful and has violent hands on contact

Was saving this project for post-Senior Bowl

Time to watch every single snap of Arvell Reese when he's lined up along the defensive line #tOSU #NFLDraft

As a former basketball player who came to football late, one question evaluators had early on about #ForksUp RT Max Iheanachor was 'is he tough enough?'

Yeah, he answered that bell this week @seniorbowl

Intensity level ratcheted up to 10 all week & backed it up in the game

Jumped on with @Bo_Wulf and @EJSmith94 today to talk through what I saw in yesterday's Senior Bowl practices

A couple of LBs with very different skillsets jumped out

Here's why #H2P Kyle Louis and #ForksUp Keyshaun Elliott can stick in the NFL

Love this route from #GigEm TE Nate Boerkircher

Widens, pushes vertical and snaps it off at the top - open for catch in MOF

One player that I'm excited to see this week down in Mobile? #ForksUp T Max Iheanachor

Here's why...

Putting together an All-Shrine Bowl team for the ALL NFL Draft Newsletter this week

One guy who will be on it? #Wyoming OL Caden Barnett

This weekend was my first exposure to him, and I thought he put three good practices together at the Shrine Bowl

After going thru all of my film and notes from the week, I feel good with this statement

The best player here at the @ShrineBowl that I hadn't studied before coming down here?

#GeauxCajuns LB Jaden Dugger

Rare length, functional athleticism; made plays going forward & back 👇

Seems to be a decent chance that the #Falcons hire a former #Eagles personnel director as their next GM

Here to watch some QBs throw at the Shrine Bowl
