A square announcement image, with text in white displaying "Contributor apps open until Nov 1, 2025".

"Contributor apps" is written in big cursive letters at the top, followed by "open until" under the "apps part" in all caps smaller letters. The date is indicated in black under that, in the same all caps smaller letter
than before, in a lime green rectangular section with rounded corners.

In the center of the image is an artwork of Dimitri facing us, head turned slightly to the side, playing the drums with a look of discomfort and intense concentration.

These are all visible on a soft blue, purple, white, light yellow and light green gradient background, with subtle grainy texture. The bottom part contains, on a white rectangle background, the name of the project in small letters on the left, 'Scales of the Goddess: A FE3H OST Zine', and Bluesky and Tumblr social media handles of the project on the right: fe3hostzine.

🥁 That's the end of our FAQ!

Thank you again for your interest in Scales of the Goddess! You may find additional information laid out in our Info Doc. For any further interrogations or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out. We'll be happy to help.

See you in a few days!
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
We are aware of some issues encountered by several projects in the fandom. We will try our best to be as transparent as possible on the process and update our socials each step of the way.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"Can we trust the moderators of this zine? There have been many instances, especially in the FE3H fandom, of some projects falling through or money being stolen, so I would like for the moderators to be transparent about their role and the process."
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
In the meantime, you can find a long presentation of each member alongside their zine mod experience in our Info Doc.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"I'm very interested in the concept of the zine, but would love to know more about the mod team and their modding experience."

We will start officially introducing the mod team on our socials in the next few days.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"Will you be creating a twitter account for the project?"

There will not be a Twitter account for Scales of the Goddess, no. We will stick to Bluesky and Tumblr only for the duration of this project.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
Contributions might take the form of short essays, journal entries, letters, songs, etc. This role may also work closely with collaborative artists and the mods.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
Precise expectations for other forms of writing (grouped as “spot writing”) will vary, but we expect these to mainly function as world-building information about the world of Fodlan, and each piece would be expected to take up around 1-2 pages.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"How could a writer help in the zine?"

Story writers will be asked to provide one complete fic ranging from 2,000 to 2,500 words, in third-person POV limited.

Poems will be expected to be no more than one page in length, so the precise word and line count may vary depending on style.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"Would the zine come with a vinyl or a CD with some nice remixes ?"

We have already contacted a musician to create a medley of the soundtrack for us! However, vinyls and CDs are costly to produce and difficult to safely pack, so we cannot promise anything of the kind.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"Since this is a zine focused on the OST of FE3H, are we allowed to contribute songs to the zine (lyrics written out at least, if not perhaps the notes and chords printed as well) as part of our writing?"

Songwriters and all types of musical contributions are welcome to join in any capacity, yes!
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
Musical proposals and their placement within the project will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We hope to have writers, artists and musicians work hand in hand and emulate each other as best as possible.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
With each chapter including 5 songs or more, contributors will be tasked with interpreting a specific part of the soundtrack according to their own sensibilities.

Artists, story writers, poets and songwriters are welcome, and highly encouraged to contribute.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
–It's a super cool concept, but there might be more interest if there was a clearer understanding of what you're trying to do."

We absolutely agree!

This anthology will be divided in 6 different chapters: White Clouds, Crimson Flower, Azure Moon, Silver Snow, Verdant Wind and Cindered Shadows.
fe3hostzine.bsky.social
"I'd love a little more information about the vision and goals for this zine. What does a zine centered on the soundtrack entail? Is there going to be music? How does that translate to art and writing?–
