From an early age, I was in art programs, and they wanted to prepare us for the reality of the world through criticism. I handled it better as a teen than an adult. I stopped creating for a long time, and now I focus on the joy it brings me to create whether it's ugly or not.

My mother as well, she would read to us every night until around 8 or 9, but at that point, I started reading every night. She also put us in reading programs every summer. It made it fun and I quickly fell in love with books.
