Want an easy way to start being more active? Do these three things.
1. Sit down and then stand up. Do that 10 more times.
2. Reach up high and go onto your toes. Do this 10 more times.
3. Side step, then together and repeat 10 times in both directions.
Guess what? You're exercising!

As a stroke survivor, I know what it's like to start over. I went from teaching 25hrs of group exercise a week to sleeping 22hrs a day. The process I used to get moving again as a beginner...
1. Walk
2. Mobility
3. Activate
4. Strengthen
Be patient with yourself and celebrate the small stuff.

W- Your Why: remember why you want to do this, focus

G- Growth: focus on the journey

Walking is a great starting point to starting a daily exercise routine. I find instead of going for a specific time I just try to go one more mailbox further every 1-3 days. I remember the day after my stroke, I was able to go to my mailbox and back. 🎉💪
