so after me and a friend played with libretranslate a bit
it actually like??? kinda sucks???
we played with japanese translation on it for a bit and like.
it translated hello to ログイン which just like. isn't correct.
i may have to actually look into using the deepl api for translation on my instance

i think others here need to understand that some just Cannot Alt Text Good ™
if there's a post w/out alt text, offer to write it for them and let them edit it into the post ~~(and then if they refuse just steal the post)~~ :neofox_floof:

im glad i migrated to sharkey because now i can use moshidon instead of having to use the web client. because for some reason misskey doesnt actually implement the mastodon api (i guess fair, but i'm still going to complain)
