Kind of… Currently there’s no communities on #bluesky, just 20M people all on 1 server. The #OpenSocialWeb is a network of 20,000 community servers that together create a single #SocialMedia network.

That’s the future of social media. Being a part of a community that knows you, not being 1 in 20M.

We should be allowed to exist on a platform free of hate and intolerance. That also makes moderating 25M users much easier.

We communicate using a W3C protocol, don’t have algorithms or influencers. Every community is funded and moderated by users and you can import/export their profiles whenever they wish.

Please consider creating a place on the open social web where you can never be shadowbanned and have the ability to migrate to different community servers while taking your followers with you. #SocialMedia does not have to be a handful of silos owned by rich investors.
