As a result of researching my own time, I made a small tool for myself. This is far from a prod version, and might never be. Works without registration, SMS, or money. But with bugs 😅 Basically everything saves to localStorage and that's it. But if anyone's interested, I can share it for testing.

So I literally blocked my access to Instagram programmatically. Same thing with studying. Sometimes I catch myself thinking "I want to read this, but no time", then I look at the stats and realize something can be moved around to make that time available.

Made myself a few presets and just tap buttons like "work", "study", "procrastinating". After a while I realized I wanted to procrastinate less, because the number was getting big: wanted to scroll Instagram for 5 minutes, ended up sitting there for 20 min.

To plan anything, you need to understand your spending. In my case, it's time. Sometimes there's this feeling that "time just disappeared somewhere". That's why I started tracking time. But I made a deal with myself not to be too meticulous about recording everything.

Honestly, I didn't even think about a production version. Just built a time tracker for myself to procrastinate consciously, so to speak. I believe productivity systems are complete nonsense if you don't want to understand your own processes or don't get why you need all this.

It's just a one-page note where you can write something down. It's super useful for me because sometimes I really need a place to make some notes briefly.
