Can no one sell the man on "arsenal ship?" Probably the least harmful of the current naval gimmicks. "Arsenal ship!" Range 100x the Iowa! More missiles than any country has on a ship! "Arsenal ship," wow!

I don't know much about the text of federal law. In California, bills include "legislative findings" and are peppered with language such as "it is the intent of the Legislature that–." These come in handy pretty often in the state supreme court.

Does or should federal law have something similar?

As I understand it, the math here is liquids have a fixed (weight) cost in valves and tankage and such that gets wiped out the larger you go, plus volume scales faster than hoop stresses.

Thought we went with solid ICBMs for storage & response time reasons?

Reminds me of a concept from last week's Perun, that interceptor drones are valuable to navies with the ability to loiter far from ships and make an attempt prior to activation of a higher-end second line, and not otherwise.

I'm not a user but...surely those offered next steps are built in by creators with particular AI opinions, not organically generated? They read like choose-your-own-adventure options that will lead to the same page, or "interactive" training infographics where you choose what order to read text in.
