The reason for the season.
Ingredients for cranberry sauce on a kitchen island: cranberries, sugar, golden raisins, oj, apples, oranges, pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Grand Marnier. Framed handwritten recipe stands next to food. Prepped combined ingredients that was not yet been cooked. Finished cooked cranberry sauce. It is red and shiny and delicious.

Within hours of becoming the parents of boy/girl twins my husband insisted that they be Dipper & Mabel for Halloween.

I was up in the middle of the night with my infant twins when he got Covid and I will, no joke, be chasing that high my entire life. I chose not to wake up my husband with the news but left him a sticky note for the next feeding instead.
