From how they described the gameplay it doesn’t sound terrible but god damn the art style is abysmal. It looks nothing like the Horizon games. Even the LEGO game looked more like it belonged in the franchise.

THQNordic advertised the heck out of it for a while. It really was their big tentpole title. I’ve played it. It is certainly a game that tries to do things.

Not sure how I feel about the show, but it's got just enough of a hook that, combined with good animation, I'll at least give the next episode a shot. However, I'm not really sure why they made it a sequel to Samurai Troopers. It feels nothing at all like the old series.

My partner surprised me with an electric kettle a few months ago. So much better than using a microwave. Reminds me, I need to drink tea more often.

I’ve had a cell phone since 2003 and in that time I think I’ve maybe broken two of them and that’s with working in warehouses and manufacturing most of my adult life.

It’s a bad definition. You’re excluding a massive swath of games that don’t get recognition otherwise. Your definition also includes lIke every single Valve game since HL2 Episode 1 and they’re a multi-billion dollar company.

The definition of "indie game" has always been fairly nebulous. Self-published has never really been a qualifier however. That is far too limiting of a requirement and ignores all the games that get released through small publishers that specialize in lower-budget titles.

I’m choosing not to do that this year. I really don’t want to drive 6+ hours in the middle of winter just to spend a day feeling like I have to walk on eggshells.

Really nice to see OLED prices dropping now, especially on newer models. Looking at the specs, seems like a pretty solid monitor too.
