Reading Scott Pilgrim, but not in B&W this time around. WOW, does the coloring completely open up what one would already be feeling reading this stuff. Multiple times I had to just stop and process what they're getting going with it. I admit its influence on me.. inked and intense.

The immediately accepted interpretation of the new Jack Stauber being about his popularity is idk. I guess good, since it shows fans keeping the well-being of the people that make the art that they love in mind. Though, you still see the shitty "you're not allowed to be excited about this" opinions.

i directed the last segment of this film called THE ELEPHANT. it comes out TOMORROW, fri dec 19th, on adult swim... and then landing on HBO MAX the next day, sat dec 20th. i found it really difficult to make. there's also a BTS that airs with it, i think. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tli7...
