I was posting my art on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X for a while, but I decided to delete my accounts on them because I didn’t feel comfortable with them anymore. Especially TikTok and their new terms of service, which scared the absolute crap out of me.

I was so validated when Wreck-It Ralph first came out back in 2012. When I was a kid, I played a lot of platformer games and was hyper-fixated on the boss characters. I wanted to use them as a shield against my bullies.

I’ve been learning how to use acrylic markers and fine liners for a while now. It’s messy compared to my digital art where I can make the coloring and line art cleaner, but my traditional art is more of a therapeutic thing for me.
