I vote Alito as a definite support. He‘s an agnostic when asked if a GOP president can be held to account to law and precedent, yet also broadly grants immunity from the “history and tradition“ doctrine newly foisted by the court in a prior decision.

@burgunfaust.bsky.social I agree! Also, immigration judges have no business being under DOJ leadership where they can be pressured by executive agenda. They should be under independent judiciary. That'd be one of the first reforms I'd love to see...

One of the most beautiful things I learned from teaching in a special education classroom was how empathetic and supportive the neurodivergent students could be for each other’s needs. Most other students never get a chance to practice doing this on a daily basis.

I'm interested to see what novel and spurious legal theory the Right will come up with to justify allowing a president to run for a third term. Whatever it will be, they're going to try to claim they've always held to it and that we're radical for thinking otherwise.
