i recently kind of gave up on trying to get new units of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, so i decided to go for the new Galaxy Buds3 FE

i absolutely love them! and after a week of using them, i wrote a small review of them for Reddit, that i'm going to post here now

i recently did a lot of experiments on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro's equalizer, and i found a setup that i really really loved! thus, i got kind of curious about how it would compare to the default of the new AirPods Pro 3

i've tried out basically all the music streaming apps i could, YouTube Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, etc...

and i could NOT use any of them

there is just no beating Apple Music

this semester of college will be packed, i had the opportunity to take both the 4th and 5th semesters at once, and i'm all in on it!

so i'll be busy day and night, with only some free time on afternoons and sunday

but it'll be worth it!

some quick tests, done with 15 minutes of non-stop media playback:

SSC UHQ gives an average of 20% per hour

SSC and LC3 give an average of 12% per hour

SBC gives an average of 16% per hour

note that there is a margin of error, since i didn't do an actual full hour of non-stop media playback

i've been having issues with Samsung's proprietary Bluetooth audio codec ever since i updated to One UI 7, and it just seems to get weirder

i'm someone that both likes portability and convenience, and likes to move around a lot, which means that, when it comes to audio, i am a huge fan of True Wireless Stereo earbuds

and aren't i lucky that LE Audio is a thing!

four days ago, i got the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, because i felt like it was time for me to retire the Buds2 Pro i've been using for more than two years now

it's been delightful so far! i used to have the Buds+ as my favorite-sounding Galaxy Buds, but the Buds3 Pro have now taken the lead!

ever since i posted this, i've done tons of reworks to my performance mode switching system, and i am super super proud of it!

today i finally managed to find a way to properly customize my Book3's built-in Samsung performance modes!

i'll start off giving some context

i used to use Rectify11 on my last laptop because i loved the consistent dark Mica look, but, back then, it used to cause some performance problems, mostly during boot...

i wonder if that's still the case today? i'd love to install it again, it'd look wonderful on the AMOLED screen of the Book3

i had a sort of "optimized" energy setup with my last laptop with the help of ThrottleStop, and i'm still using ThrottleStop on my Book3, but wow, the i5-1335U's behavior is so much different, specially when paired with Samsung's exclusive features

recently i upgraded from a basic Samsung laptop with an i5-1135G7 to a Galaxy Book3 360 with an i5-1335U, and, despite the differences in performance maybe not being *that* huge, the improvements have been super visible - and it's not even been 3 full days yet!
