it is actually crucial for players to get creamed in the early game at Hunter's March bc the helmet ants there teach you to deal with something that most bosses in the game will do:

1) 3 part combo
2) diagonal dive that opens them up for a hit

the new V/H/S feels a bit longer than it needed to be but i liked it overall. It has what's probably the darkest segment in the series so far, and one that would have been pretty fun but the actors kinda blew it
