Apparently that includes us. I didn’t know!

Love a day that turns sunny despite the forecast. Walk with doggo to the local park.

Lunchtime drama. 🚲 After work rides are now in the dark, brrrr. Time to switch them up.

Reminds me of this one, never step off the curb!

The pouring rain this weekend let up and suddenly it was sunny. Bike ride ensues 🧡💙🍂 Surprisingly had the boardwalk at Swan lake to myself (walked that bit).

I saw these jewels just a few months ago (like about a million other people). I did wonder if they were fakes for safety. Based on my knowledge of security measures learned from action movies, they needed more lasers to protect them. Can I have the pretty pink one?

Cruise ship at dusk, Ogden Point, Victoria. A floating city.

Mordor, sorry, Sooke hills, sending up a big searchlight at sunset tonight. 6:45 pm, time is speeding up.

I think I may have put my shoes on to get this reaction ❤️🐶

Sometimes I really dislike Victoria transit. Off the ferry; bus had just left. Looking at 1.5 hours to get home, with 2 buses and long waits. It’s 35 km.
Took a cab, got home before the bus would have even left the ferry terminal, and passed the earlier bus on the highway. $85 a lot tho.

Well, the NYT helped by constantly downplaying events. They’re doing it right here, in the article. Charlottesville where they chanted “Jews will not replace us,” a Nazi slogan in support of the white supremacist Confederacy, and A WOMAN WAS MURDERED BY THEM.

This can’t be quite legal, no? There were several gliders taking turns buzzing the walkway along the Dallas Rd waterfront this afternoon, they were having lots of fun.

Cities talk a lot about accessibility, then fail when it comes to paying for it. Like mine, that won’t plow sidewalks after (rare) major snowstorms. We just wait till it melts, anyone who can’t walk on this can stay home.

Thanks for this! Very interesting. I feel for the patient helper that fetched the unmarked, flour-like roach powder. He had to live the rest of his life in that same hospital.

It says he repudiated SSPX and posted devotional videos to Opus Dei. And the article is talking about Hasans pro-life stance, not pinesap’s.

I’m just stuck on the WaPo misspelling his name in the headline. 🤷‍♀️

Front page of the NYT just now. Hashtag winning all the time.

This detail churned my stomach… The killer’s parents saying in his defence she looooved him so much that it “transcends her passing.” You mean her murder?

See, this is what my city gets wrong, they don’t re-landscape when a road is barred to cars. It’s just the same tarmac, even with parking spot lines still there. Unwelcoming and drivers just feel dispossessed. Controversial Clover Point in Victoria, before and after.

I forgot that these two beasts existed at the same time once. March 2018 Victoria, Johnson St bridge.
