As in, what Childermass does when he transforms from a shadow back into himself?

How did you like it? It's very popular here in Texas - some local conventions sing exclusively from the Cooper book, but I find that too many songs in it resemble marching band music, and they don't represent anything I like about shape note songs.
Luckily, there's a big overlap with the Denson book.

I'm reading "The Saint of Bright Doors". Really interesting.

Also, earworms proved very handy when I went on stage and realized I forgot my close-up vision glasses. Without which I can't read notes. But with the song rotating in your brain 24 hours a day, who needs notes! 3/3

Among those anonymous pieces are Alle Psalite and Stella Splendens, which are in my Top 10 of early music greatest hits, and which I never thought I'd have an opportunity to sing on stage! 2/3

I found out today - at the dress rehearsal - that our choir leadership has decided to eliminate the co-occurring F and F# ! Now both sopranos and altos will sing it as F.

This contest takes place three times a year, and the last time I won a prize was two years ago, when I came in second. At that time there were 40 submissions.
The contest has shrunk in popularity, and the organizers are thinking of discontinuing it. I guess I snuck in just under the wire. 2/2

I don't want to make their job harder, and I don't want to *be* in a specific session, only to be notified in advance which session I will be in, and ideally also how far down the list.
So basically I don't have a scheduling preference, I only want to be notified in advance.

Thank you, though unfortunately the full article is behind the paywall.

Ah, hmm. I didn't know that.

For example, if my leading slot is after the break, I would like to know that so I could enjoy the first session without having to worry about it.

Oh well, wishful thinking. 2/2
