The only thing that didn't fail miserably here is VR.

Slowed down yeah but it's actually fun, and thankfully valve is keeping that alive (much more than meta)

Is there a way to hit some unknown nuclear button that pretty much filters out all political slop off my feeds, other than manually muting it all.

Cuz it's getting to THAT point where I'm getting really sick of politics.

I love your art style and this piece is so cute!!

Ridiculous.. utterly ridiculous.

Clementines or oranges

And i haven't specified which countries would either. But do realize the reason that won't happen is austerity.

If healthcare was well funded, something like this wouldn't be so out of line, especially since technology decreases in price as it's adopted.

I'm giving examples, and i haven't even displayed the example of a Roomba as the end game product robotics can end up as.

That's why i said "house cleaning robots" plural, undefined, general.

Please stop arguing in bad faith.
December 17, 2025 at 6:25 AM
Some tools are primarily used for harm, so this can be a non absolute argument.

Either way, robotics is a tool that can be good or bad. And people have always exaggerated their fear of robots as if Terminator is real life.

I don't want to see disabled people struggle, why would i. I have diagnosed mental health conditions that are considered disabilities, including PTSD.

But i know others have it worse and need all the help they can get.

Medical advances help all of us, this can be medically advancing too.
December 17, 2025 at 6:22 AM
Respectfully many countries have functional healthcare systems where something like this can be funded to be handed out.

Cost should never be a concern, I'm sorry if it is, you deserve better.

Secondly, like any technology, it'll reduce in cost with time as is natural with technology.
December 17, 2025 at 6:22 AM
Common sentiment, it's quite ridiculous.

It's one thing to hate GenAI for the negativity it causes as an example. And it's not like robotics are GenAI.

But people will look at robotics in the same light and exaggerate the impact when tech can and has improved our lives time and time again.
December 17, 2025 at 6:14 AM
It can help disabled people with areas their disabilities affect them, if they need help taking a shower for an example, getting out of bed if it's difficult, pick up heavy loads.

Instead of calling a care worker, who should focus on medical necessities, robots can fill in for chores, it's not hard
December 17, 2025 at 6:11 AM
Do their chores by literally doing their chores.

Why is this a how? The same way we have roombas we can have house cleaning robots, eventually when robotics advance to such a state.

This isn't some tech marvel it's just robotics we've been doing this for decades.

Oh i notice it here.

It's weird on my drifter, her face seems unchanged but the textures look higher fidelity, that's all I notice.

This guide is gonna end up in some library with its history attached someday.
December 17, 2025 at 4:13 AM
Lol. Lmao even

Ngl, i really don't notice the difference in visuals.

Am i just blind or something?

Never, EVER accept a drink that was left out of sight for any duration of time.

And always keep an eye out on who's pouring your drink and what they're doing.

Reject the drink if something doesn't check out, spiking drinks is becoming more common to target people.
December 17, 2025 at 3:49 AM
They could be used to help disabled and elderly people with chores.
December 17, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Because honestly, the majority of people don't understand the tech in their hands. It's why plug n play is sought after.

You still have people who think all machine learning is AI and LLMs, but i don't really blame them, it takes a long time and some dedication minimum to understand everything.
