Yeah, I've been dealing with it a lot lately. I had to clean out a Wii Fit board, two Wiimotes, and a Walkman with battery corrosion in the last few months. Luckily they all still worked without any extra care after cleaning, but it is annoying.

Those were just like wheel accessories for Mario Kart, I didn't see the price though.
