For now I'm just doing the jacks as I'm only committed to playing at home for now and don't need the power.

Cool, thanks. My dilemma is that my Carvin head - 1100w - will easily overpower the cab but has native bi-amping. I could replace the 8" with 250w rated ones giving me much more headroom, but I'd have to re-calculate the crossover circuits to find the new component values.

Once I verified those were the correct replacements, I offered up what particular speaker cabinet they were for, what repair I was doing, why they usually need replacement, and any other info I could think of in case anyone else looks for these or does this repair.
