The Amirate of Trans-Jordan was a British protectorate. It annexed the West Bank, but right when it renamed to Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and so the ambiguity of this map might be due to "no-man's-land" rather than the annexation.

French Indo China was harder than I expected because it was a combination of countries. This globe seems to show it at its largest, and the first countries departed in 1949 so that's what I'll use as my End date (asterisk=uncertainty).
