Nice! The shiny hunting in ZA has been insane!

I just did a play through of Red and Crystal on the 3DS. It was fun to transfer a bunch of pokemon up through Box. I still need to go back to finish the Dex in Gen 2 and might fire up G/S to fill in some gaps.

While @kangamutt.bsky.social and I were waiting in the queue for the night market at #AFC2025, @cloverwolf.bsky.social appeared and gave us this cute sketch. It really captures the moment of… me taking a selfie to capture the moment! :P
The resemblance here is uncanny! :D

This was a fun little experiment! If you take Live Photos quickly-enough, it turns out there can be enough overlap in the 3-second video clips to stitch some of them together.
(Not perfect, but not bad) :P
A screenshot of my Photos app showing about 2 dozen photos taken in very rapid succession. These were converted to video clips. A screenshot of a timeline in FCPX with 8 video clips of varying lengths, each from 3 to 1 seconds long. Each clip is sourced by converting several Live Photos shared by @rocketsystem.bsky.social into video clips. This is how the video in the previous post was created.

Me as Cinnamon the deer. I’m posing with my forehooves on my hips in front of the convention backdrop which shows a scene on a prehistoric city street with a billboard that says “AFC” on it. She’s a reddish brown and cream colored Axis Deer with a heart and swirl motif. Her fursuit was made by @thefuzzfactory.com and the character was designed by @tracey.science. Same as previous, but me posing to the side. You can see Cinnamon’s butt and tail sticking out. My forehooves are on my on my cheeks. Same as previous but posing to the other side. You can see that she’s wearing a flower crown on one of her antlers. Her hind hooves are pointed inward cutely.

Earlier today, @tracey.science and I had the nicest chat with Wesley Eure, the creator of DragonTales (and Land of the Lost and tons of other stuff), at #STLV! It was almost magical singing along with him randomly busting out the entire DT theme song!
