Two answers:
1) Fear. A lawless FDA (and/or CMS) can nuke them.
2) MAHA targets low-margin products, like vaccines and generics. Trump admin is otherwise helping them make money on blockbuster drugs, eg skipping Medicare negotiation for GLP-1s.

I suppose it depends on how far you consider realistic... she's a sitting D senator who's vice chair of the caucus, but she's probably stronger on policy than whipping
