Exactly. Threads will be the only Twitter competitor. Bluesky wasted a lot of time with this invite-only method. I know perfecting an app takes a while but I guess this is the end of the road for the competition.

Threads App: The simple fact that I’ll be able to follow and see posts from the same accounts I currently follow on Instagram, is a huge W for me. Bluesky still has a long way to go and I don’t see my friends really excited about this app. At the eod, that’s what we’re looking for in a socialnetwork

We now have an appearance toggle in the Settings section but it doesn’t look to be working as expected. My phone is using Dark Mode yet the app keeps showing the Light UI.

Why do we need this in the sidebar? It just makes the app look more cluttered. It should be in the “Settings” section tbh.

The question is… Will there ever be verified accounts in Bluesky? I know 100% this is Stephen King, but once more artists start to migrate to this app, how can we be certain?

The UI is so clean. I would just add some translucent details to the app to make it look more “New” . I hope it gets added in a future software update.
