I would love to see a study on the downward consequences of all this for consumers to better understand what harm is being caused.

I am not a free speech absolutist, and agree there is a need for a balancing act. I would argue Germany often finds the wrong outcome — and this is not cherrypicking cases, but looking objectively at how the more powerful routinely and systematically abuse German law to evade accountability.

I would respectfully disagree. I’m not saying it is what Vance is referring to - he wouldn’t have a clue - but there are many authoritarian countries with less restrictive defamation laws than Germany has. Look at how censored Google Map reviews are. Media reports not naming perpetrators, etc.

The agenda for the parliamentary track seems to get updated and indicates social events will be on 16th 18:00-20:00 and music night the 17th 19:00-21:00. Agree that the host country website is unhelpful and lacks adequate, timely information. www.intgovforum.org/en/filedepot...

Your interview with her was excellent. Leadbeater had good responses to most of your questions. But her reply to your question about coercion and one being pressured to die was scary. Severely ill people will feel like a burden on their families & will choose to die sooner than they otherwise would.
