This is what we have always been. Natives know that. Black Americans know that. Trans people know that. It’s not that more hate was created. It’s just been more allowed. These people have always been this. They just get to do it outloud now.

Yes they were “tricked” and told things that aren’t true but they were so easily tricked because maga appealed to their bigotry that already existed in them. They deserve nothing.

So you know you can’t just talk people out of it. My husband grew up in a cult as well.

But I agree we all need to fight against fascism. But there really isn’t anything we can do about a government shutdown. Those letters aren’t getting read & there is no way to punish them financially
