Ok yeah you’re right it doesn’t solve it for the encoded call data when sending the pure transaction. But at least many modern solutions on chain work on layer 2 (or a comparable architecture; meta tx) where native transactions are not needed anymore.

It’s not the hardware wallets. Any dApp signing hashes could be leveraging EIP712 (eth) which is supported by most wallets nowadays: www.ledger.com/academy/glos...
