Mood journaling could be helpful to understand your own thought patterns, but I don't think a lot of prep is necessary. A good evaluator will observe you in addition to your rote answers & will know how to pull honest data from you. Just eat a good breakfast before & go in as calmly as possible!!

My diagnostic process was actually pretty simple. I did a standardized panel of exams all at once during a 4 hour appt, so they could test me for things other than BPD at the same time. I struggled the most with the questionnaires abt my behavior bc I struggle with emotional permanence
